Planark's destination guides, local insights, and itinerary suggestions are generated server-side using a combination of curated data sources and AI services. Content is prepared before you see it — not generated live in response to individual requests. The sources we use include:
AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only. While we aim for accuracy, content may contain errors or become outdated. Always verify critical travel details — visa requirements, transport schedules, opening hours, safety conditions — through official sources before travelling.
We do not use your personal data or travel plans to train any AI model.

We do not have commercial relationships with hotels, airlines, booking platforms, or any travel service providers. We receive no commissions or referral fees from any source.
The Planark mobile app does not use cookies. If you access Planark via a web interface, minimal session cookies may be used to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers or cross-site tracking.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Some anonymised, aggregated usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

Planark is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you within the app. Continued use of Planark after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This content is provided for informational purposes only. While we work to ensure accuracy, AI-generated and aggregated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Always verify important travel details — including visa requirements, opening hours, transport schedules, entry conditions, and safety information — through official sources before travelling.

Planark allows users to add external links to their itineraries (e.g., booking pages, maps, restaurant websites). These links are user-generated. Planark is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites. We have no commercial relationship with linked services.

The Planark name, logo, design, and original content (including destination guides and local insights curated by us) are the intellectual property of Planark. You may not reproduce or distribute this content without written permission.
Planark is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of the App for any particular purpose. Travel planning involves inherent uncertainty — conditions change, and Planark's content should not be your sole source of travel information.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Planark and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to travel disruptions, inaccurate itinerary information, or reliance on AI-generated content.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use of Planark after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, where Planark is based, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, unless local consumer protection law requires otherwise in your jurisdiction.

Map data used throughout Planark is provided by OpenStreetMap and its contributors. OpenStreetMap is a collaborative project to create a free, editable map of the world.
Destination descriptions and factual information are informed by Wikipedia, the free encyclopaedia. Wikipedia content is written collaboratively by volunteers around the world.

Planark uses Google Gemini to help synthesise, summarise, and structure destination content. Gemini is Google's AI model for text generation and understanding.
Planark uses Perplexity AI to research and verify travel information, ensuring destination content is accurate and current.
Use of Wikipedia and Wikivoyage content under CC BY-SA 4.0 means that any adapted content we distribute inherits the same licence. Use of OpenStreetMap data under ODbL means we must make our derived database available under the same licence if distributed.
